Rapid Prototyping, Rapid Manufacturing

A variety of techniques is available for manufacture and repair of parts, dies, and tools: laser or plasma cladding, also hybrid techniques made up of combinations of laser beam, plasma torch, and induction. Compact layers and 3D-structures can be generated by deposition, alloying, and dispersion of metals, hard materials, and ceramics. Every one of the mentioned techniques is integrated into a complete technological chain starting from data acquisition and ending with the finishing process.

Rapid Prototyping and Rapid Manufacturing with Precision Cast Prototyping (pcPro®)

Rapid Tooling

Metal Laminated Tooling (Melato®) is a novel technique for rapid generation of larger steel tools and dies. Typical applications examples are:

Injection molding tools with conformal cooling systems (Patent pending)
    Metal sheet forming tools
    Core boxes
