Cylinder liners of Al alloy, LAAPS coated with AlSi

    

 

Currently, several metal alloys on the base of Cobalt and Nickel as well as aluminium alloys are available for the hybrid spraying technique. The coatings are entirely dense and have a high adhesion strength to the substrate. As the figure shows, the expensive surface roughening by grit blasting, otherwise necessary, can be left out.
